Hybrid Game, 11/1/09 Golden Sands, Silver Lake MI.

This is going to be a hybrid style game, part milsim, part rec game. on Sunday Nov. 1st on the undeveloped back 9 at Golden Sands Golf Course in Silver Lake/Mears Mi. This is only 30 minutes north of Muskegon. This is a large 60 acre field with hardwoods with scattered openings through out. It also has a lot of terrain change, (hills and valleys). To make this work, I NEED A MINIMUM OF 25 PLAYERS TO SIGN UP. Otherwise I'll have to cancel it. The cost will be $10 and goes to the land owners (Golden Sands Golf). If all goes well it might open the door for more opportunities to play there next season. There is no electricity or water on site, but the pro-shop is just across the street which sells drinks and food and has restrooms. Because this is going to be partially milsim, we will divide the teams by uniform colors. Green vs. Tan. Greens will be woodland, marpat, tiger stripes, flecktarn, solid green or anything green based. Tans will be any desert camos, multicam, acu, solid tans or anything else tan based.

Let's go WMIA, this sounds like an awesome event so I'd like to see a whole crap load of us descend on this field!! So far we're up to 7 on the green side, where's the tan?

15 signed up and we need 25 to ensure the event happens. Lets go boys, get mommy and daddy to let you come to the realy cool, major WMIA event that also happens to be damn near the last event of the 2009 season. Beast has busted his A** on this one and I really want to see what he's cooked up not to mention a 60 acre field that could be ours for next season as well. If we don't hook this s*** up we'll lose it.

OK we are going to try some new medic rules for this game to help in the milsim aspect. As in real life if you get hit in the arm or leg, you would most likely continue to fight until a teammate can reach you!

MEDIC RULES:

If a player is struck in an extremity (arm, legs, hands, or feet) they will lose use of the body part until it can be healed. They yell out "HIT", and my continue to fire or move around, and call out directions to other teammates. There are unlimited heals on extremities. Heal time is 30 seconds. And can be healed by any team member by holding onto that extremity for the 30 count.

Players shot in the body mass or head will yell "OUT". They can not return fire or move on their own. They may move with the assistance of a team member. Body mass and head wounds can only be healed by the team medic. Medics will carry cards with them and the wounded will draw a card. It will either say wounded or KIA. If wounded, the medic can heal that person with a 60 count, if KIA they will return to thier team respawn point and wait 2 minutes to respawn. There will be a 2 minute bleed out for those who a medic does not or can not reach. During the bleed out, you may be captured by the OPFOR.

Hell yeah. I'm digging the medic rules!!!
