Problem with the tight bore barrel is the outer diamiter of the barrel is to wide for the barrel clamp from the pistol and also the barrel in the pistol moves back and forth as a fireing action unlike an aeg were the piston moves back and forth. I have this burning itch to have full M4 trades on my S-system. And have found a G&P body kit with full Colt trades. I would use the G&P upper, but have heard that the S-systems have a slightly different upper because of the long top rail. So I would try and use the G&P lower with my stock D Boyz upper if I can. Poor mans chrono shows it at just below 500. It when clean throught the bottom side area, and almost through the top. (big dent with a tear) Man does that big spring make a bang when fired!!
