Where to get a Mosfet for your gun

For anyone interested. I have to say that a mosfet does alot to your rifle. It is a great upgrade. It will raise your rof and your battery life. I would highly recommend it to any airsoft user.

I looked at each of those sites and founds myself wondering how exactly do you install them? Looks like there are more wires than needed. Give us a brief idea how they are installed.

Also most of us know about the three-round burst but what benefit do they have other than the cool factor? Is there a huge mech-box safety benefit to them? If for one don't give a crap about the burst but have heard other things about increased durability because of these units. Basically, I need the sales pitch. Convince me.

It puts your spring at rest after each shot. That's what I like about it.

ive heard that a mosfet will lower the current and thats all i want i dont want the 3 round burst is this true or do you have to have the burst?

No they increase the current to the motor, that's why you see an increase in the rate of fire with a mosfet. What is does is eliminate the current from going across the trigger switch which has resistance. This keeps the trigger contacts from burning out due to the high current flow across them. If you want to reduce the rate of fire, then buy an adjustable mosfet that lets you dial in the ROF you want. There are mosfet that do not have the 3 round burst function, but why would you not want it? That's like buying a new convertable car and not getting the top to go with it. Sure it's sunny today, but it might rain tomorrow!

well because ive heard problems with getting the timing right with the three round burst and also i melted out the large to small connectors with my 10.8v nicd and i thought it was from to much current but what are all the benefits to a mosfet? although i think im getting this one and set it up for safe, burst, full so i get it all (link)

yes it does and installation should be easy thanks to beast's tutorial =D and I will be getting this fairly soon
